論文摘要就像是一篇文章的門面一樣，要寫得清楚、寫得吸引人其實不容易。其實各家的說法都大同小異，不過我最近在看 Steve Wallace (這本書的作者就是寫 How to write and submit an academic paper in 16 weeks 的) 這本 How to attend, speak or present a poster at an academic conference ，覺得非常精簡，摘下來分享給大家。

要寫摘要，其實就是回答下面幾個問題：
- What did you investigate?
- Why?
- What did you do?
- What did you find out?
- What do your results mean?
- So what?
接著，依照下列的格式組織一下：
- Motivation
- Problem statement
- Approach
- Results
- Conclusions
- References (通常極少數的情況會需要)
雖然這些說法與 Steve Wallace 上一本大作 How to attend, speak or present a poster at an academic conference 說的一致，但我喜歡這個簡潔的說法，故節錄下來以便日後參考。
